TESTING/MAINTENANCE
This state is active when one or more channels are in TEST mode and is used to
perform maintenance on the gas detection system. To put one or more channels in
TEST mode the user must perform a special procedure, described later in the manual.
The gas concentration measured by a sensor in TEST will be shown on the central unit
display but will not generate an Alarm status if it exceeds a set threshold. In the same
way, a relay output) in TEST will not be activated in case of an alarm or fault event.
DISINSERT
This status is used to exclude individual channels or system parts without physically
disconnecting the sensors.
Attention: a gas detector in the DISINSERTED state does not generate any alarm.
EMERGENCY
This is a particular state of malfunction that can occur for the following two reasons:
Malfunctioning of the Vdc power supply of the control unit No 230 Vac primary
power supply
