2.4.2 Special Application DC Power Output Connections
Special Application Resettable and Nonresettable 24 VDC power is available on the RP-2002 con-
trol panel.
2.4.3 Relays - Programmable
The RP-2002 control panel provides a factory default programmed alarm relay, fail-safe trouble
relay and supervisory relay. Each relay can be programmed to activate for other conditions (refer to
Section 3.5.5, “On-Board Relays”, on page 63). Each Form-C relay is rated for 2 amps @ 30VDC
(resistive) and 0.5 amps @ 30 VAC (resistive).
Note that relay connections must be power-limited.

4-Wire Smoke Detector Power (500 mA)
24 VDC filtered, resettable power for 4-wire smoke detectors can be
obtained from these terminals (power-limited)

Resettable or Nonresettable Power (500 mA)
24 VDC filtered, resettable or nonresettable power can be obtained
from these terminals (power-limited)
Jumper JP31 pins 1 & 2 for nonresettable power (as illustrated
in figure to right)
Jumper JP31 pins 2 & 3 for resettable power

The Trouble Relay is a fail-safe relay
which will transfer on any trouble or total
power failure.
