components before preparing the administration set.
Preparing the Administration Set
NOTE: For detailed instructions, see administration set
packaging.
WARNING
ARRANGE TUBING, CORDS, AND CABLES TO MINIMIZE
THE RISK OF PATIENT STRANGULATION OR
ENTANGLEMENT.
Use the aseptic technique to prepare the administration set for
priming, then proceed as follows:
1 Make sure flow regulator is closed.
