Preliminary Requirements
1. Turn the computer off.
2. Remove the power cord.
3. Remove the front panel.
Procedures
1. Using needlenose pliers, disconnect the fan wire connector from its pins on the fan housing.

2. Using a #1 Pozidriv® screwdriver, remove one of mounting screws from the fan to be
replaced. Refer to Figure 2-6.

3. While holding the fan in place with one hand, remove the other mounting screw from the
fan.
4. To install the fan, reverse steps 1 through 3.
