High-Speed Disc Add-On

The high-speed disc interface add-on is identical to the HP 98625B card. It allows word wide
transfers during DMA cycles and is fully supported by software. Because of limited space, the
High Speed Disk card is implemented on a separate board. This board configuration has the
benefit of allowing users to order the HP 98262A High-Speed Disc Add-On to upgrade their
system interface board.
