Caution
The
ON-OFF
button
on
the
front
of
the
computer
is
connected
to
the
power supply by a long
shaft.
When
removing
the
power supply,
slide
the
power supply
out
carefully so you
don't
damage
the
ON-OFF
switch shaft.
4.
Remove
the
power supply.
Note
Replacement power supplies do
not
have
the
switch shaft connected.
Install
the
switch
shaft
from
the
failed power supply on
the
replacement
power supply.
5.
Remove
the
switch shaft guide by pinching
the
tab
shown in Figure 2-7
and
removing
the
guide.

6. Remove
the
switch
shaft
from
the
ON-OFF
switch by gently pulling
the
switch shaft off
the
switch. Refer
to
Figure 2-8.
