Procedure
1 Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 1-13 with the signal
generator connected to Channel 1 of the Counter.

2 Set the HP 8663A Signal Generator to output 1 MHz at −7 dBm.
3 On the Counter, press Run key.
Verify the Counter reads 1 MHz ±1 mHz.
