If marker assembly 83525-60092 is installed in an HP 83522A that does NOT have
motherboard
83522-60084 AND ALC assembly 83522-60098, then remove interconnect
jumper
W1 from the marker assembly. With jumper W1 removed, the new marker
assembly will function the same as previous marker assemblies.
