On
the Multifunction Synthesizer, key in
AMPTD
8
V.
Set the oscilloscope’s input impedance
to
50
ohms
or
terminate the input in
50
ohms
using
a
tee. Set the oscilloscope’s vertical sensitivity
to
1
V/division. Adjust the vertical position
of
the dc trace
to
coincide with the second graticule
line from the top
of
the screen.
5.
On the Multifunction Synthesizer, key in
WAVE
FORM
’L.
Set the frequency indicated in
the following table. (The amplitude is
to
remain the same as set in step
4,
that is,
8V.)
For
each setting, adjust the oscilloscope’s time scale
to
obtain a useable display and note the peak
amplitude relative
to
the second graticule line. The peak amplitude should be within the limits
listed in the table.
