Heatsink Fan
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 87).
2. Remove the access panel (
Access Panel on page 88).
3. Remove the heatsink (
Heatsink on page 109).
4. Disconnect the heatsink fan cable from the system board.
5. Remove the four screws that secure the fan to the front of the heatsink (1), and then remove the
fan from the heatsink (2).
To install the heatsink fan, reverse the removal procedure.
