Second Serial Port
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 56).
2. Remove the access panel (
Access Panel on page 57).
3. Disconnect the serial port cable from the system board.
4. Disconnect the serial port cable from the clip (1) mounted on the inside of the chassis.
5. Remove the two hex nuts from the outside of the chassis that secure the serial port to the chassis
(2), and then remove the serial port.
To install the serial port, reverse the removal procedure.
