▲ Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the ngerprint reader cable is connected, and then disconnect the
ngerprint reader cable (2) from the ngerprint reader.
To install thengerprint reader cable, reverse the removal procedure.
Card reader cable
To remove the card reader cable, use this procedure and illustration.
NOTE: The card reader cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N18760-001.
Before removing the card reader cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 39).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 39).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
4. Remove the left speaker (see Speakers on page 49).
Remove the card reader cable:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the card reader cable is connected, and then disconnect the card
reader cable from the system board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the card reader cable is connected, and then disconnect the card
reader cable from the card reader.
