a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack (Extend the server from the rack).
b. Remove the server from the rack (Remove the server from the rack).
5. Remove the access panel (Remove the access panel).
6. Remove all standard fans from the fan bays.
7.
Remove fan blanks from the fan bays, if installed.
8. Install high-performance fans in each of the seven fan bays.
If needed, ensure each fan is securely installed by pressing the tab. Do not press on other areas of the fan.
