HAFM Management Applications
Installation
This chapter describes the procedures required to install the HAFM software on the
Omnibook PC.
Installing the HAFM Software
Install the HAFM software on the Omnibook PC by completing the following steps:
1. Insert the HAFM Applications CD into the CD-ROM drive and run the
installation program named HAFM_ServerInstall.exe.
2. The installer program will guide you through the installation process.
Iomega QuikSync
Included in the HAFM application installation is the Iomega QuikSync application,
which is used to automatically back up all HAFM data to a Zip drive. Because this
application is installed and configured automatically, no additional configuration is
necessary. When the entire HAFM server configuration procedure is complete, power
off the PC. Replace the internal CD-ROM drive with an internal Zip drive and blank
disk to allow the QuikSync application to function properly.
