Optical Drive Eject Button
The optical drive eject button is mounted to the front of the chassis under the front bezel. It has a cable
that plugs into the back of the optical drive.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Preparation for Disassembly on page 42).
2.
Remove the access panel (
Access Panel on page 43).
3.
Lay the computer on its side with the front facing toward you.
4.
Remove the front bezel (
Front Bezel on page 44).
5.
Disconnect the cable from the rear of the optical drive.
