Before removing the wireless antennas, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 23).
3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 25).
4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 26).
Remove the wireless antennas:
1. Disconnect the AUX antenna cable from the WLAN module (1).
2. Release the AUX antenna cable from the retention clip (2) that is built into the system chassis.
3. Release the AUX antenna cable through the opening in the system chassis (1).
4. Remove the slotted Torx screw (2) that secures the AUX antenna transceiver to the system chassis.
5. Remove the AUX antenna cable and transceiver (3).
