a. Connect the HBA to Expander Mini-SAS X cable (788456-001) from the Host Bus Adapter to the
Expander card. Connect port 1 to port 1 and port 2 to port 2.
b. Connect the Smart Array to Expander Mini-SAS Y cable (779300-001) from the Smart Array
controller to the Expander card ports 1 and 2.
10. Connect the three Expander to backplane Mini-SAS X cables (778556-001) from the Expander card to
each backplane according to the table below:
