Touchpad board
NOTE: The touchpad board spare part kit does not include the touchpad board cable. The touchpad board
cable is available as spare part number L44450-001.

Before removing the touchpad board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 22).
Remove the touchpad board:
1. Position the keyboard/top cover upside down with the front toward you.
2. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 1.6 screws (1) that secure the touchpad bracket to the top cover.
3. Remove the touchpad bracket from the computer (2).
4. Lift the clear protective tape from the touchpad board screws (1).
5. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (2) that secure the touchpad board to the top cover.
