Power button board
NOTE: The power button board spare part kit does not include the power button board cable. The power
button board cable is available as spare part number L44445-001.

Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 22).
Remove the power button board:
1. Position the top cover upside down with the front toward you.
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the power button board (1).
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.6 screw (2) that secures the power button board to the top cover.
4. Remove the power button board (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
