Display assembly
NOTE: The display assembly is spared at the subcomponent level only. For more display assembly spare
part information, see the individual removal subsections.
Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 22).
3. Disconnect the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the display assembly:
1. Disconnect the display cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the display cable from the clips in the chassis (2).
3. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (3).
4. Remove the antenna cables from the clip on the side of the display hinge bracket (4).
5. Remove the two Phillips M2.5 × 2.0 screws (1) from the left hinge.
6. Remove the two Phillips M2.5 × 3.0 screws (2) from the right hinge.
