Speakers (include left and right speakers and cables) L44458-001
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 22).
3. Disconnect the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the speakers:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
2. Release the speaker cable from the routing clips (2) built into the battery.
3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (3) that secure the speakers to the computer.
4. Remove the speakers (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
