NOTE: The USB/audio board spare part kit does not include the audio/USB board cable. The cable is
available as spare part number L44443-001.

Before removing the USB/audio board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 22).
3. Disconnect the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the USB/audio board
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the audio/USB board (1).
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (2) that secure the board to the computer.
3. Remove the board from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the USB/audio board
