To install one or two SATA hard drives:
1. Disconnect power from the system (see
Predisassembly procedures on page 52).
2. Remove the side access panel (see
Side access panel on page 58).
3. Select a drive bay to install the SATA hard drive in, and remove the drive mounting rails from that
slot.
If a drive was originally removed from that slot, retrieve the mounting rails from the removed drive.
4. Install the hard drive body into a set of hard drive mounting rails, as shown in the following figure.

5. Slide the SATA drive and mounting rails into the selected bay until it snaps into place.
6. As shown in the following figure, attach the data (2) and power (1) cables to the SATA drive.
