16. Install the NVMe riser boards in slots 1 and 3.
17. Make sure that the boards are firmly seated in the slots.
18. Install the PCI blank retainer on page 58.
19. Connect the drive cables:
• NVMe SSD data cables
• Drive power cable
20. If the fan cage was removed, do the following:
a. Make sure that all the system cables that are routed through the front cable channel are properly
secured in the metal cable tabs. This is done to prevent system damage due to cables being
inadvertently caught under the fan cage.
b. Install the fan cage on page 55
21. Install the air baffle on page 51.
22. Install the access panel on page 49.
23. Do one of the following:
