Chapter 1 Installation Preparations
 Note:
This chapter introduces the preparations related to the installation of antenna & feeder system only.
Other preparations, such as technical document preparations, installation environment check,
engineering schedule and kickoff coordination and unpacking inspections, are the same as those of
other Mini NodeB. For details, please refer to "Chapter 1 Installation Preparations" in BTS3802C
WCDMA Mini NodeB Installation Manual – Equipment Installation.
1.1 About This Chapter
This chapter describes the installation preparations of antenna and feeder system,
including:
z Personnel Requirements
z Preparation Tasks for Different Installation Roles
z Tools & Instruments Preparation
z Testing Antenna & Feeder Equipment
z Adding Feeder Connector
z Assembling Antenna
1.2 Personnel Requirements
The antenna & feeder system is installed by the antenna & feeder installation
personnel under the supervision of the project supervisor.
1.2.1 Requirements for project supervisor
The project supervisor should:
z Be familiar with the materials, tools and methods related to the antenna & feeder
installation;
z Be familiar with the installation flow and the installation methods of all the parts;
z Have a strong safety consciousness.
1.2.2 Requirements for tower installer
The tower installer should:
