3) Inject the glass cement to the gap around the feeder window.
4) Plug the holes unused with special stoppers.
The feeder window that has gone through the waterproof treatment is shown in Figure
2-45.

î Note:
If the feeder enters into the equipment room through a glass window, the treating methods and
procedure are as follows:
z Remove the glass, and cut an opening of a proper size round the corner of the glass.
z Protect the cutting position using the rubber or adhesive tape. Wrap the feeder to be led through the
opening with the adhesive tape lest that the opening edge scratch the feeder.
z Lead in the feeder through the glass window.
z Make the waterproof treatment by sealing the interface between the feeder and the glass using the
glass cement.
