2.8.2 Installation Requirements
z The antenna shall be in the protection coverage of the lightning rod. No
interference from the tower structure shall exist in the forward direction of the
antenna. The length of the antenna protruding from the tower platform shall be
no less than 1 m.
z The gain of antenna shall be 15 dBi, the isolation degree 30 dB, and the semi-
power angle 65°. For details on antenna interval, refer to the Appendix A
Interval Requirement for Antenna Installation.
z The waterproof curve shall be made for the antenna jumper.
2.8.3 Installation Flow
The installation flow is shown in Figure 2-20.
