5.4 Connecting the AC Output Power Cable
Precautions
A three-phase AC switch needs to be installed on the AC side of the SUN2000. To
ensure that the SUN2000 can safely disconnect itself from the power grid when an
exception occurs, select a proper overcurrent protection device in compliance with
local power distribution regulations.
WARNING
Do not connect loads between the inverter and the AC switch that directly
connects to the inverter. Otherwise, the switch may trip by mistake.
If an AC switch is used with specications beyond local standards, regulations,
or Huawei's recommendations, the switch may fail to turn o in a timely
manner in case of exceptions, causing serious faults.
CA UTION
Each inverter must be equipped with an AC output switch. Multiple inverters
cannot connect to the same AC output switch.
The SUN2000 is integrated with a comprehensive residual current monitoring unit.
Once detecting that the residual current exceeds the threshold, the SUN2000
immediately disconnects itself from the power grid.
