6.3 Powering Off the System
Context
After the SUN2000L powers off, the remaining electricity and heat may still cause electric
shocks and body burns. Therefore, put on protective gloves and begin servicing the
SUN2000L 5 minutes after the power-off.
Procedure
Step 1 Send a shutdown command from the app, SmartLogger1000, or network management system
(NetEco 1000S).
Send a shutdown command from the app: Perform operations by referring to 7.4.3.2
Starting or Shutting Down the SUN2000L if you log in as installer; perform operations
by referring to 7.5.6 Settings if you log in as user.
Send a shutdown command from the SmartLogger1000: Select Devices on the LCD
main menu of the SmartLogger1000 monitoring panel, select the target SUN2000L from
the device list, and select Maintenance. You can start or shut down the SUN2000L after
logging in to it. For details, see the SmartLogger1000 User Manual.
Send a shutdown command from the NetEco 1000S: Log in to the NetEco 1000S client
and select Monitor on the main menu. Select the target SUN2000L in the navigation
pane on the left. In the displayed operation pane, click the Details tab and start or shut
down the SUN2000L by controlling the buttons on the tab page. For the detailed

Step 2 Set the DC switch to OFF.
Step 3 Turn off the DC switch between the PV string and the SUN2000L if there is any.
Step 4 Turn off the AC switch between the SUN2000L and the power grid.

6.4 Setting the SmartLogger1000 Communications
Parameters
SmartLogger1000 communications parameters can be set through either of the following
means:
Embedded web user interface (WebUI)
Liquid crystal display (LCD) monitoring panel
