How to fix a Hunter Pro-C Controller valve that won't turn on?
    • X
      xfreemanSep 2, 2025
If a valve on your Hunter Controller system won't turn on, it could be due to a short in the wiring connections or a bad solenoid. Check the field wiring and replace the solenoid if necessary.

Why won't my rain sensor shut off my Hunter Pro-C system?
    • S
      Spencer MillerAug 31, 2025
If the rain sensor isn't shutting off your Hunter Controller system, it could be due to an incompatible rain sensor, the jumper not being removed when the sensor was installed, or using Manual Single Station Mode. Ensure your sensor is a micro-switch type like Mini-Clik®. Verify that the jumper has been removed from the SEN terminals. Note that Manual Single Station Mode will override the sensor. Use Manual All Station Mode to test the sensor.

Why does my Hunter Pro-C Controller keep repeating its cycle?
    • T
      Tanya GregoryAug 29, 2025
If your Hunter Controller is cycling repeatedly, it's likely due to having too many start times set. Only one start time per active program is needed. Please refer to “Setting Program Start Times” on page 16.

What does “SENSOR OFF” mean on my Hunter Pro-C display?
    • C
      Chris NortonAug 25, 2025
If your Hunter Controller display reads “SENSOR OFF”, the rain sensor is either interrupting irrigation or the sensor jumper isn't installed. You can slide the Rain Sensor switch on the front panel to the BYPASS position to bypass the rain sensor circuit, or install the sensor jumper.

What does it mean when my Hunter Controller displays a station number and ERR, such as “2 ERR”?
    • H
      harperjasonAug 22, 2025
If your Hunter Controller displays a station number followed by “ERR” (e.g., “2 ERR”), there's a fault with the wire leading to that station. Check the station wire for continuity, replace or repair any shorted wires, and ensure all wire connections are good and watertight.
