3 Filter unit/filter housing over-view
The filter units of the OLF-5 and OLF-10 series are used for
the fine filtration of hydraulic oils in bypass flow. The series has
many versions e.g. with or without the motor-pump unit, ele-
ment removal to the top or bottom, tank installation variants,
optionally with integrated Condition Monitoring for the determi-
nation of fluid purity and water content etc.
Depending on the version, flow rates up to 15 l/min and vis-
cosities up to 7,000 mm²/s can be supported. Additionally, the
use of filter elements with up to a 2µm absolute filtration rating
along with a dust holding capacity of up to 200g (N5) or 500g
(N10) ISO MTD are possible.
The DIMICRON filter elements used are characterized by:
- An especially high dust holding capacity
- Environmentally friendly disposal (incinerable) and
- Water retention (optional).

were developed especially for applications in the lubrication
systems (gear boxes) with a tank volume of up to ≈300liters.
This filter unit functions with a flow rate of 4 l/min.

The filter units of the OLF-5/15-… / OLF-10/15-… "Hydraulic
series" were developed especially for applications in hydraulic
systems with a tank volume of up to ≈2,000liters. This filter
unit functions with a flow rate of between 5 ... 15 l/min.
