7 Rectifying malfunctions
The following errors may occur during handling or operation of
the filter unit/filter housing:
Malfunction Cause(s) Rectification
No flow The unit pumps
in the incorrect
flow direction.
Make sure that
the pump pumps
in the direction
of the arrow on
the housing.
If necessary,
change the two
phases of the
electrical con-
nection.
There is air or air
bubbles in the
suction line and
the pump.
If the unit does
not pump any
fluid even after ≈
5 minutes, prime
the pump via the
suction line.
The permissible
viscosity of
<200mm²/s has
been exceeded
or the pump has
not been primed.
In this viscosity
range, the pump
requires
≈10minutes to
achieve the
maximum flow
rate.
The filter ele-
ment is clogged
(the clogging in-
dicator re-
sponds)
The fluid is
heavily contami-
nated. The ca-
pacity of the filter
element/filter
cartridge has
been reached.
Replace the filter
element/filter
cartridge.
The viscosity of
the medium is
too high.
Wait until the oil
has been
warmed up by
