Replacing the Seal Assemblies
Only one seal kit is necessary to repair all the seals in the pump (see Figure 5-12). Use
an insertion tool for seal installation
To install a seal assembly:
1. Apply a lm of O-ring grease on the O-ring on the outside of the new high pressure seal.
2. Insert the high pressure seal into the cavity with the “U” shape down.
3. Press high pressure seal into place.
4. Apply a lm of grease on the O-ring on the brass retainer (see Figure 5-13).
