2. Basic Specifi cations
Characteristic
1) The signal used for activating the actuator is the same as one used for activating the air cylinder
(electromagnetic valve). Therefore, the currently used PLC program can be used without any
modifi cation. This unit can be applicable both to single solenoid/double solenoid system.
2) Since the dust-proof type (option) with the protection structure level equivalent to IP53 has been
setup, the installation of the controller outside the control box is enabled.
3) For the simplifi ed absolute type (option), because the current position is obtained in the power
input or after the recovery operation from the emergency stop, the home return operation after
every start-up is not required.
4) The pressing operation or intermediate stop operation is available. Pressing force is within the
range of 20 to 70%.
5) For the data entry for the movement position and pressing force settings, easy entry from the
optional PC Software unit (Model No. RCM-101-***) or touch panel teaching unit (Model No. SEP-
PT) is available.
