POWER SUPPLY THEORY
CAUTION
Do not remove the power supply cov-
ers. The power supply is a FRU and
is replaced as a unit.
AC (Out)
The system power· supply contains the
AC and DC distribution logic for the
system and supplies DC voltage to the
system electronics, keyboard, display,
and diskette unit. The power on/off
switch located on the .front top cover
of the supply controls all AC and DC
voltage distribution (Figure 6-11).
