Floats and Flashes Alarm function ❏ “FLAr”
Alarm periodically sounds while the transceiver is floating in
the water, to allow you to find the transceiver in the water.
•OFF: ThefunctionisOFF.
•ON: Alarm periodically sounds while the transceiver is
floating in the water. This function stops when a
key is pushed or 10secondshavepastafterthe
transceiver is retrieved from the water.
CAUTION: The alarm sounds loudly.
Automatic AquaQuake function ❏ “AquA”
This function automatically activates the AquaQuake Water
Draining function when the transceiver is retrieved from the
water.
•OFF: ThefunctionisOFF.
•2/5/10:TheAquaQuakeWaterDrainingfunctionis
automatically activated after stopping the floating
alarm sound. A low vibration tone sounds for the
speciedtimeof2,5or10seconds,toremove
water from the speaker grill.
NOTE: This function does not activate when an external
speaker microphone is connected.
