Bad Tilt Calibration (cont.)
Problems During the Automatic Laser Receiver Calibration
• If the Combo Sensor got installed on the bottom 1/3 of the dipper stick you may use the automatic calibration procedure for the laser
receiver. Otherwise you need to use the Manual method.
• Make sure that there is no slope set in the rotating laser.
• Make sure that you selected the finest deadband on the hand detector for shot #1.
• I can’t reach the bucket pivot point with the hand held detector for shot #1:
• Setup the tripod lower even if you may need to raise the main boom for shot #3.
• When the dipper stick is fully pulled in the reception field is almost horizontal so it won’t catch the laser beam or get me an on-grade signal
for shot #2:
• Open the dipper stick until it catches the laser beam. It’s recommended, but not mandatory, to fully pull in the dipper stick.
