Adjustment and replacement
Hood stay
To remove
1 Raise hood and support independent of hood
stay.
2 Disconnect stay from retaining clip.
3 Press retaining clips on grommet and withdraw.
Remove stay from grommet.
To fit
Refit hood stay in reverse order.
Hood stop adjustment
1 Raise hood. Hood stops are located both sides of
the vehicle. (Front end of fenders).
2 Adjust stop by unscrewing to raise or screwing to
lower hood.
3 When correct position is selected tighten locknut.
