2 Choice of anode
The 13 mm anodes:
are intended for treatment of small areas (10 cm2
, 1.5 in2 ).
can be cut to fit as closely as possible the shape
of the part to be treated. This can be done with an
ordinary file.
are small in size, and allow deposition in locations
where there is little clearance.
The 50 mm anode:
is intended for average-size flat areas (up to 200
cm2, 30 in2).
The 100 mm anode:
- is recommended for large flat areas.
3 Setting up
Connect the generator to a 220v outlet.
Connect the black lead to the -ve terminal on the
generator.Connect the brown lead to the +ve
terminal on the generator and the other end to the
pad holder selected.
Secure the black lead clamp to a vehicle earth.
