Technical description
Permissible joints
It is extremely important that the body reinforcement is
not damaged during bodywork repair. The illustrations
below show a summary of permissible joints for a
number of frequent repair locations. In most cases, the
joint locations are measured from measuring points on
the side of be body.
1 The upper A-pillar must be joined 350 mm from
point A (windshield upper corner).
2 The lower A-pillar must be joined 100 mm from
point B (lower hole for FRT hinge fixing).
