Set “Match” update mode if you want to update the BV30 with a new version of the dataset currently programmed
on the BV30 dataset.
Set “Override” update mode if you want to change the dataset that is currently on the BV30 to a different dataset
(either different currency or different denominations.
Drag and drop dataset for updating to the left part of the window and click “Update Files” under the DA3 column
below:
Disconnect the DA3 from the PC and connect it to the BV30 using a ribbon cable. Ensure that the cable is inserted
into the “Validator” connection which is labelled on the back of the DA3. Connect power to the DA3, either using the
jack plug connect or using power from the host machine using the “Host Machine” connection.
