General Description
MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) is used in the vending industry and is now an open standard in the NAMA (National Automatic
Merchandising Association) so that all vending and peripheral equipment communicates identically. MDB uses a
master-slave model where the VMC (Vending Mechanism Controller) is the master that can communicate with up to
32 slaves (e.g. banknote validator or coin acceptor).
