Setting the sleep timer
You can specify the amount of time you want your TV to wait
before it automatically turns off.
To set the sleep timer:
1 Press TiVo. The Home screen opens. Press S or T to select
Settings, then press
X or SELECT.
2 Press S or T to highlight Sleep timer, then press X or
SELECT.
3 Press S or T to select the amount of time you want your TV
to wait before it turns off automatically. To turn off the sleep
timer, select Cancel.
4 Press SELECT to save your setting and close the Sleep Timer screen.
Adjusting Internet settings
Your TV can be connected to your wired network using the
Ethernet port on the back of your TV or using a wireless
network.
Using a wired network provides the best performance, because
the attached devices connect directly to the network and are
not subject to radio frequency interference.
Configuring a wireless connection
Regular wireless (not WPS)
You will need your network password if your router is set up to
use one.
To connect the wireless network without WPS:
1 Press TiVo. The Home screen opens. Press S or T to highlight
Connect to the Internet, then press
X or SELECT.
Note
You can also press SLEEP to set the sleep timer.
