Controlling other components
You can operate an -connected Integra/Onkyo CD player, cassette tape deck or DVD player using the remote controller provided with the
DTM-5.3.
Controlling an Integra/Onkyo CD player
The connector of the Integra/Onkyo compact disc player must
be connected to the DTM-5.3.
1 Press the CD button.
2 Press the / button to turn on the Integra/Onkyo com-
pact disc player.
3 Press the desired operation button.
: Starts playback of CD.
: Stops playback, fast forward or fast reverse.
: Fast forwards the CD.
: Fast reverses the CD.
: Pauses playback temporarily.
: Skips to the beginning of the next track.
: Skips to the beginning of the current or previous track.
DISC : This button is valid when a CD changer is used. It
selects the disc to be played.
1 to 9, +10, 0/10 : Numeric keys
Controlling an Integra/Onkyo DVD player
The connector of the Integra/Onkyo DVD player must be con-
nected to the DTM-5.3.
1 Press the DVD button.
2 Press the / button to turn on the Integra/Onkyo DVD
player.
3 Press the desired operation button.
DVD operation buttons
: Starts playback of DVD.
: Stops playback, fast forward or reverse.
: Searches the disc in the forward direction.
: Searches the disc in the reverse direction.
: Pauses playback temporarily or advances the disc
frame-by-frame.
: Starts playback from the beginning of the next chapter/
track.
: Starts playback from the beginning of the current chap-
ter/track.
DISC : This button is valid when a DVD changer is used. It
selects the disc to be played.
OSD operation buttons
Top Menu : Displays the top menu of each DVD disc.
Menu : Displays a menu recorded in the DVD disc.
Return : Returns to the previous menu.
Setup : Displays the setup menu.
/// : Selects an item in a menu.
Enter : Enters the selection in memory.
