2.14 Hardware Management Subsystem
The hardware management features enable the board to be compatible with the Wired
for Management (WfM) specification. The board has several hardware management
features, including thermal and voltage monitoring.

2.14.1 Hardware Monitoring
The hardware monitoring and fan control subsystem is based on the Nuvoton
W83627DHG device, which supports the following:
 Processor and system ambient temperature monitoring
 System fan speed monitoring
 Voltage monitoring of +12 V, +5 V, +3.3 V, PCH Vcc, Memory Vcc, Processor Vcc
and +3.3V Standby
 SMBus interface
2.14.2 Fan Monitoring
Fan monitoring can be implemented using Intel
®
Desktop Utilities or third-party
software.
