Connecting the SR61B as a Keyboard Wedge
You can connect your SR61B to your host PC in SPP profile as a
keyboard wedge using a dedicated Intermec software,
SmartWedgeLite.
Connecting as a keyboard wedge lets your host PC receive data from
the SR61B as it would from a keyboard. This can be useful if you do
not want to set your scanner as an HID Bluetooth device and still
collect data in your business applications.
Before connecting your scanner using SmartWedgeLite, make sure:
• your host PC is Bluetooth-enabled,
• your scanner is set as an SPP Bluetooth device,
• your host PC has SmartWedgeLite installed.
To connect your scanner as a keyboard wedge using SmartWedgeLite
1 Start SmartWedgeLite.
