–Transferthemobilitydevicewithouttheuser

–Ifthemobilitydevicewiththeuserhastobe
transferredtoavehicleusingaramp,ensure
thattherampdoesnotexceedtheratedslope

–Ifthemobilitydevicehastobetransferredto
avehicleusingarampthatdoesexceedthe
ratedslope(referto12Technicaldata,page
77),awinchmustthenbeused.Anattendant
canthensafelymonitorandassistthetransfer
process.
–Alternatively,aplatformliftmaybeused.
–Ensurethatthetotalweightofthemobility
deviceincludingtheuserdoesnotexceedthe
maximumpermittedtotalweightfortheramp
orplatformlift.
–Themobilitydeviceshouldalwaysbe
transferredtoavehiclewiththebackrestin
anuprightposition,theseatlifterloweredand
theseattiltintheuprightposition.

Ifthemobilitydeviceistobetransferredtoa
vehicleviaalift,whentheremoteisturnedon,
thereisariskthatthedevicemayacterratically
andfalloffthelift.
–Beforetransferringthemobilitydeviceviaa
lift,turnofftheproductanddisconnecteither
thebuscablefromtheremoteorthebatteries
fromthesystem.
