yourbatteriescompletely.
•PayattentiontotheBatteryChargeIndicator!Charge
thebatterieswhentheBatteryChargeIndicatorshows
thatbatterychargeislow.
Howfastthebatteriesdischargedependsonmany
circumstances,suchasambienttemperature,condition
ofthesurfaceoftheroad,tirepressure,weightof
thedriver,wayofdrivingandutilisationoflighting,if
equipped.
•Trytochargethebatteriesalwaysbeforeyoureachthe
redLEDrange.
Thelast3LED(oneredandtwoorange)meana
remainingcapacityofabout15%.
•DrivingwithashingredLED’smeansanextremestress
forthebatteryandshouldbeavoidedundernormal
circumstances.
•WhenonlyoneredLEDisashing,theBattery
Safefeatureisenabled.Fromthistime,speedand
accelerationisreduceddrastically.Itwillallowyouto
movethemobilitydeviceslowlyoutofadangerous
situationbeforetheelectronicnallycutsoff.Thisis
deepdischargingandshouldbeavoided.
•Beawarethatfortemperaturesbelow68°F(20°C),the
nominalbatterycapacitystartstodecline.Forexample,
at14°F(-10°C)thecapacityisreducedtoabout50%
ofthenominalbatterycapacity.
•Toavoiddamagingthebatteries,neverallowthemto
befullydischarged.Donotdriveonheavilydischarged
batteriesifitisnotabsolutelynecessary,asthiswill
strainthebatteriesundulyandshortentheirlife
expectancy.
•Theearlieryourechargethebatteries,thelongerthey
live.
