13Warranty
13.1LimitedWarranty—US
Exceptasotherwisesetforthbelow,Invacarewarrantsthat
thefollowingcomponentsofthemobilitydevice(“product”)
willbefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipfor
aperiodofone(1)yearfromthedateInvacareshipsthe
producttotheoriginalpurchaserorprovider:baseframe,
electronicsandelectricalcomponents(excludingbatteries),
motors,poweredseatingactuators,gearboxes,bearingsand
bushings,seatframe,xedseatpost,upholsteredmaterials,
paddedmaterials,casters,tiresandtubes(excludingnormal
wearandtear).Invacarewarrantsallproductbatterieswill
befreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipfora
periodofsix(6)monthsfromthedateInvacareshipsthe
producttotheoriginalpurchaserorprovider.Thewarranties
describedabovearereferredtoasthe“Warranty”.Acopy
oftheoriginalproductinvoiceisrequiredforcoverage
undertheWarranty.
13.2LimitedWarranty—Canada
Exceptasotherwisesetforthbelow,Invacarewarrantsthe
baseframeofthemobilitydevice(“product”)willbefree
fromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiod
ofve(5)yearsfromthedateInvacareshipstheproduct
totheoriginalpurchaserorprovider.Invacarewarrants
thattheseatframeandxedseatpostwillbefreefrom
defectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodofthree
(3)yearsfromthedateInvacareshipstheproducttothe
originalpurchaserorprovider .Invacarewarrantsthatthe
followingcomponentsoftheproductwillbefreefrom
defectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodoftwo
(2)yearsfromthedateInvacareshipstheproducttothe
originalpurchaserorprovider:electronicsandelectrical
components(excludingbatteries),motors,poweredseating
actuators,gearboxes.Invacarewarrantsthatthefollowing
componentsoftheproductwillbefreefromdefectsin
materialsandworkmanshipforaperiodofone(1)year
fromthedateInvacareshipstheproducttotheoriginal
purchaserorprovider:bearingsandbushings,upholstered
materials(excludingnormalwearandtear),padded
materials(excludingnormalwearandtear),brakepads
(excludingnormalwearandtear),casters(excludingnormal
wearandtear),tiresandtubes(excludingnormalwearand
tear).Invacarewarrantsallproductbatterieswillbefree
fromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodof
six(6)monthsfromthedateInvacareshipstheproductto
theoriginalpurchaserorprovider .Thewarrantiesdescribed
abovearereferredtoasthe“Warranty”.Acopyofthe
originalproductinvoiceisrequiredforcoverageunderthe
Warranty.
13.3RepairorReplacement
Invacare'ssoleobligationandtheoriginalpurchaser’s
exclusiveremedyundertheWarrantyislimitedtoInvacare’s
repairand/orreplacement,atInvacare'soption,ofdefective
componentsandbatteriescoveredbytheWarranty.Such
repairorreplacementdoesnotincludeanylaboror
shippingchargesincurredbyInvacareinthereplacement
and/orrepairofanysuchcomponentorbattery.For
Warrantyservice,pleasecontacttheproviderfromwhom
youpurchasedyourproduct.Intheeventyoudonot
receivesatisfactoryWarrantyservice,pleasewritedirectly
toInvacareattheaddressonthebottomofthebackcover .
