•Donotcycleyourbatteriesatalowstateofcharge
withoutregularlyrechargingthemfully.
•Donotchargeyourbatteriesunderextreme
temperatures.Hightemperaturesabove86°F(30°C)
arenotrecommendedforchargingaswellaslow
temperaturesbelow50°F(10°C).
•UseonlychargingdevicesinClass2.Thisclassof
chargersmaybeleftunattendedduringcharging.All
chargingdeviceswhicharesuppliedbyInvacarecomply
withtheserequirements.
•Youcannotoverchargethebatterieswhenusingthe
chargersuppliedwithyourmobilitydevice,oracharger
thathasbeenapprovedbyInvacare.
•Protectyourchargerfromsourcesofheatsuchas
heatersanddirectsunlight.Ifthebatterycharger
overheats,chargingcurrentwillbereducedandthe
chargingprocessdelayed.

chargerforthepositionofthechargingsocketandfurther
informationaboutchargingthebatteries.

–Onlyusethebatterychargersuppliedwith
yourmobilitydevice,orachargerthathas

–Chargebatteryinacool,dryandwell-ventilated

byattachingcablesdirectlytothebattery
terminals.

operatethewheelchairatthesametime.
–DONOTattempttochargethebatterywhen
thewheelchairhasbeenexposedtoanytype
ofmoisture.
–DONOTsitinthewheelchairwhilecharging
thebattery.
–DONOTleavethechargerunattendedwhenthe
breakerhastripped.Unpluganddiscontinue
useimmediately.Contactaqualiedservice
technicianorInvacareforservice.
